Terms of use

Last updated 4 September 2026. These terms cover the Vozeru Android app and this website.

1. The deal

Vozeru gives you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Android devices you control, under these terms. The app is provided by Vozeru, based in the Netherlands. Contact: vozeru@vitefait.nl.

2. What you make is yours, and your responsibility

Audio the app produces from your text or your recordings is yours. We claim no rights in it and we never see it. That cuts both ways: you are responsible for what you make and what you do with it.

You agree not to use Vozeru to:

  • imitate a real person's voice without their consent, or in a way that suggests they said something they did not;
  • deceive anyone, including for fraud, scams, phishing, fake evidence, or political or commercial deception;
  • harass, threaten, defame or abuse anyone, or produce sexual content of a real person without their consent;
  • break any law, including laws on personal data, publicity rights, copyright and elections;
  • circumvent the free tier's limits, the Premium check, or any technical measure in the app.

When you share synthetic audio, say that it is synthetic. It is good manners and, increasingly, the law.

3. Voices and consent

A voice model is a model of a person. Using your own voice is fine. Using someone else's is fine when they have agreed to it, or when the person who published the model made it for people to use and had the right to do so. If you are not sure you may use a voice, do not use it.

If a voice in the catalogue is yours, or you published the model and want it delisted, the takedown page is for you.

4. The catalogue

The Voices tab is an index of RVC voice models that other people have published on Hugging Face. Vozeru does not host those files, does not make them, does not endorse them and does not check them. Each model belongs to whoever made it and comes under whatever licence they gave it, or none. An entry may disappear because its author removed it, because of a takedown request, or because the index was rebuilt. We do not promise any particular voice stays available.

5. Premium

  • Premium is sold through Google Play as a monthly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown there in your currency.
  • The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you paid for runs out as normal.
  • Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy. We can not refund what Google charged, but we can tell you where to ask.
  • Lifetime means for the life of the app on Google Play. If the app is withdrawn from Google Play, Premium on an installed copy keeps working.
  • The free tier's limits (currently 10 spoken lines and 5 conversions a day, 3 installed catalogue voices) may change. We will not lower them for existing users without saying so in the app first.

6. Open-source components

Vozeru is built on open-source models and libraries, each under its own licence. The licences page lists them. Nothing in these terms restricts what those licences grant you in the components themselves.

7. What we do not promise

Vozeru is provided as is. Speech synthesis and voice conversion are approximate by nature: a result can sound wrong, a model can be poor, a long job can fail on a phone that runs out of memory. We do not promise that the app is error-free, that a given voice sounds like a given person, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the app or from anything made with it. Nothing here limits liability that can not be limited under Dutch law.

8. Ending things

You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We can end your licence if you break section 2 or 3, which in practice means we may refuse to support you; we have no server to lock you out of. Sections 2, 3, 7 and 9 survive.

9. Law and changes

Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to consumer protections you have where you live. If we change these terms, the date at the top changes and the app's About screen links to the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it; if you do not, uninstall.

Vozeru is not affiliated with Google. Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Google's own terms apply to your use of Google Play.
